We place a 4" Tall by 11"
diameter reinforced concrete footing at the bottom of a 12" diameter
by 3' 6" deep cylinder bored into the ground. Our concrete footing provides a strong and stable base for the laminated column and prevents settling. We also insert
a 1/2" x 10" galvanized anchor bolt through the column
to greatly increase uplift resistance. |
